WLH partnered with a global pharmaceutical company to enhance its Business Planning & Resource Allocation processes and tools as it was undergoing a major expansion. The focus of the project was to cascade the process beyond its initial roll-out at the regional level and adapt the process for district managers and field sales professionals. In addition, there was a need to develop an implementation and learning solutions cascade that would strengthen field leaders’ business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

 
Key Deliverables Included:
 
  Developing a business planning process for implementation with all customer-facing teams.  
       
  Developing tools and templates to support the business planning process and ensure more cross-functional collaboration.  
       
  Developing a comprehensive marketplace analysis that mapped business analytics to key areas for better decision making.  
       
  Partnering with Business Analytics to develop training on how to use and analyze company sales reports for business planning.  
       
  Revising the current business planning data capture templates to include a limited free text environment that adheres to Legal and Compliance guidelines.  
       
  Adapting the process to account for upcoming product launches.  
       
  Developing a planned cascade throughout the sales organization to ensure all parties understand their roles and expectations; especially around coaching and oversight.  
       
  Designing a Business Acumen and Resource Allocation workshop for Managers.
