WLH partnered with a new leader of a pharmaceutical company to develop an integrated strategy and operating plan for the Medical Affairs group. The leadership team needed to outline and agree on the group’s strategy and value proposition.
WLH helped the client:
Conduct a diagnostic assessment of the leadership team and internal stakeholders to better understand current challenges and to identify delivery methods with more value for the new organizational structure.
Design and deliver an offsite leadership meeting to engage in strategy development, action planning, and role clarification.
Provide ongoing support for the development and execution of action plans to ensure functional expertise was leveraged by matrixed therapeutic areas.
Create a change management strategy that included support for group members’ transition to new roles and education for internal stakeholders on the group’s value proposition.
Establish metrics to measure each function’s performance.
Update processes to reflect organizational changes and ensure compliance requirements, as well as redefining all roles and responsibilities for the group.
