Integrating Organizational Culture Post-Merger
After a merger, WLH was asked by the field operations group of an animal health company to help create a new culture to integrate the best aspects of both organizations. This required a significantly different management style, greater personal accountability for performance results, and cross-functional collaboration of managers of the merged field force.
As part of this project, WLH:
Designed and facilitated a three-day conference for over 100 of the company's senior leaders and managers to define their expectations, norms, and commitments to the new culture.
Helped create significantly higher levels of collaboration among field sales, marketing, and veterinary operations in support of the new culture.
Designed and facilitated workshops for leadership teams for each of the company's business units to help them integrate and align around the new culture.
Designed and facilitated over 50 workshops at the field operations level to cascade the new culture throughout the organization.
Implemented a human capital strategy to support the growth of the new organization and support the new culture.
